THE KNOX COUNTY HEALTH CLINIC
CAN USE YOUR HELP!
MAKE A DONATION TO THE KNOX COUNTY HEALTH CLINIC!
The Knox County Health Clinic operates on a very limited budget. The medical clinic operates out of space made available by Rockland Family Planning, office space is generously provided by Pen Bay Healthcare, and Dr. J. Gee is providing a dental office. The Clinic's providers are all volunteers. A part-time Director makes all the varied elements work together efficiently.
Funds are needed to purchase medications, dental X-rays, medical supplies, and dentures.
Donations may be made on line (via PayPal ) by clicking on the "DONATE" button above. Checks should be made out to "The Knox County Health Clinic" or "Mid-Coast Health Net", and mailed to:
Mid-Coast Health Net is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation. All contributions are tax-deductible in accordance with the law.
We depend on our community members and some local foundations to sustain our operating budget. The Clinic receives no monies from subsidies or insurance companies. Rather, we rely on the continued financial support and generous spirit right here in our community. The needs of the uninsured and underinsured have increased significantly with the recession and many people depend on the Knox County Health Clinic. Though health care reform is now in view, the Clinic will continue to provide for the healthcare needs of our neighbors until all the ‘cracks’ in our system are sealed. We need your help and hope you will be a part of the next decade of caring!
VOLUNTEER!
The Knox County Health Clinic is operated by volunteers, from the receptionists to the providers. If you would like to volunteer your skills or your time, call the director at 594-6996, or e-mail us at info@knoxclinic.org.
Thank you for your interest in the Knox County Health Clinic and Mid-Coast Health Net.
