The Knox County Health Clinic
THE KNOX COUNTY HEALTH CLINIC
CAN USE YOUR HELP!
VOLUNTEER!
The Knox County Health Clinic is operated by volunteers, from the receptionists to the providers. If you would like to volunteer your skills or your time, call the director at 594-6996, or e-mail us at info@knoxclinic.org.
HELP US FINANCIALLY!
The Knox County Health Clinic operates on a very limited budget. The medical clinic operates out of space made available to us by Rockland Family Planning, and our office space is provided free of charge. A part-time Director makes all the varied donated elements work together efficiently.
Funds, however, are needed to purchase medications, dental X-rays, medical supplies, and dentures. Donations are greatly appreciated. To donate to the Clinic, make the check payable to either "The Knox County Health Clinic" or "Mid-Coast Health Net", and mail it to:
Mid-Coast Health Net is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation. All contributions are tax-deductible in accordance with the law.
We depend on our community members and some local foundations to sustain our operating budget. The Clinic receives no monies from government grants or subsidies, or insurance companies. Rather, we rely on the continued financial support and generous spirit right here in our community. The needs of the uninsured have increased significantly with the recession and many people depend on the Knox County Health Clinic. Though health care reform is now in view, the Clinic will continue to provide for the healthcare needs of our neighbors until all the ‘cracks’ in our system are sealed. We need your help and hope you will be a part of the next decade of caring!
Thank you for your interest in the Knox County Health Clinic and Mid-Coast Health Net.
