Prescription Assistance Program
The Knox County Health Clinic has a Prescription Assistance Program (PAP), which helps patients obtain medication they might not otherwise be able to afford. By filling out an application for a PAP, a patient can receive a three months' supply of their medicine at little or no charge. Refills may be received in the same manner.
The Clinic's PAP services are not only available to Clinic patients. They are available to anyone who is uninsured and has limited financial means.
Because each drug company has its own application process requiring appropriate signatures and proof of income, it is helpful to have assistance in filling out the forms. Call 594-6994 to make an appointment.
